Stuffed Cabbage: Traditional Hungarian Flavors

Stuffed cabbage is one of the most famous and delicious dishes of Hungarian cuisine. Ingredients:
1 head of sour cabbage
500 g minced pork
200 g rice
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1 egg
salt
pepper
paprika
oil
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon flour
Instructions:
Blanch the cabbage leaves in hot water for 1-2 minutes, then remove the thick veins.
Mix the minced meat with the rice, egg, finely chopped onion and garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Fill the cabbage leaves with the meat mixture, then fold in the edges.
Heat oil in a pot and fry the stuffed cabbages.
Add water and simmer, covered, for 1-2 hours, or until the cabbage softens and the meat is cooked.
Mix the sour cream with the flour and add to the stuffed cabbage, tempering with a little hot broth.
Bring to a boil and serve hot.
