Ingredients:
1 smoked ham hock
2 onions
4 cloves garlic
1 bay leaf
10 cloves
1 teaspoon whole peppercorns
salt
water
2 tablespoons oil
Instructions:
Wash the ham hock thoroughly.
Place it in a pot and pour enough water to cover it.
Add the onions, garlic, bay leaf, cloves, peppercorns, and salt.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer the ham hock until tender (about 2-3 hours).
Remove the ham hock from the pot and let it cool slightly.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the ham hock on all sides until crispy.
